Whether you’re selling physical, virtual & digital products or services, there are times when you need to sell one item enclosing with one or more products/services at a time. The force-sell items can be a single product or variable products as in (3), (7) & (8). Because it’s required to sell them all in a single deal so as for the product to properly function or the service to be successfully delivered, we call it force sells. Yes, WPC Force Sells is intended for helping users to force the sale of multiple products at a time.
By default, when you add a new product to the list by entering the keyword then choose the item, the price will be automatically calculated. If you don’t make any adjustments, the default price of force-sell products will be 100% and the quantity is 1. WPC Force Sells gives users a chance to adjust the deal in a way that sounds more reasonable from the sellers’ perspective, or to serve certain business purposes based on shop owners’ intention. In case you’re running a campaign or would like to offer a promo on the whole deal’s price, you can always manually set a new price for each force-sell product. This additional amount will be added to the total price & the plugin will display a notification in the front-end to inform customers. There are two ways to adjust the prices of force-sell products: enter a percentage or an amount of money. By giving a considerably good price for force-sell products as in (6) & (7), sellers are giving incentives to get customers inspired and to buy the offer.
When this option – “Add Separately” – is enabled, customers can add all listed products to the cart altogether but they’re independent of one another. To be specific, these items will be treated as individual products. Removing the main product or force-sell products won’t affect the rest. That is, when a force-sell product or the main product is removed from the cart, the quantity or prices of others will still stay the same. Meanwhile, the prices of force-sell items will change back to the original; no percentage or amount discount will be applied. The main product’s quantity and the price will stay unaffected. When “Add Separately” is turned off, customers just need one click to discard all items in the offer from the cart at once and start again fresh. As in (1) & (2), normally they won’t need to be added separately because the purchase of more than one force-sell product is unnecessary.
In addition to customizable prices, customers can also effortlessly customize the quantity of the main product & force-sell products either synchronously or separately to get a preferred deal of their own. The default quantity for both the main product and force-sell items is 1. Users are able to change the quantity of each item, hence customers can only choose multiples of the default quantities. Now, there will be two cases: When will the quantities be synchronized or separated?
Case 1: When users enable the “Add Separately” feature, the quantity of all force-sell products will stay in sync with the main product. Customers can buy a random quantity of each inclusive item: 2 main products alongside 3 of force-sell item 1 and 4 of item 2. As in (7), the quantity of force-sell products can be different from the main product, because customers might want to extend the warranty period with an additional payment.
Case 2: When this is off, then the quantity of all products will be the same; buyers can conveniently change the quantity once then update the cart to revise their purchase before checkout.
