Hi,

Please update the plugin to the latest version (4.5.2). I just fixed it.

Hello WPClever team,

after a recent update on our site, WPC Linked Variation Premium 4.5.1 causes a fatal ArgumentCountError. Product pages and category pages stop rendering at the point where the linked variations are output (the page is cut off, no footer).

Error:

ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function WCML_Products::check_product_sku(), 2 passed in wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 353 and exactly 3 expected

in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/inc/class-wcml-products.php:540

Cause:

WPCleverWpclv::get_link_product_ids() (wpc-linked-variation.php, line 1826) calls apply_filters( 'wc_product_has_unique_sku', ... ) with 2 arguments. WooCommerce passes 3 arguments to this filter ($sku_found, $product_id, $sku), and WPML WooCommerce Multilingual hooks into it with accepted_args = 3. With only 2 arguments, PHP 8 throws the ArgumentCountError.

Call stack (shortened):

WPCleverWpclv::get_link_product_ids() (line 1826)

<- WPCleverWpclv::get_linked_data() (line 1693)

<- WPCleverWpclv::render_content() (line 1290)

<- WPCleverWpclv::shortcode() (line 231)

Environment:

- WPC Linked Variation Premium 4.5.1

- WooCommerce 11.1.2

- WPML Multilingual CMS 4.9.7

- WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce 5.5.8

- Elementor 4.3.3 / Elementor Pro 4.3.1 (shortcode [wpclv] in a product template)

- WordPress 7.1.2

Steps to reproduce:

1. Activate WPML + WPML WooCommerce Multilingual and WPC Linked Variation.

2. Open any product page that outputs the linked variations (shortcode or automatic position).

Temporary workaround on our side: a small snippet that replaces the WCML callback with a wrapper which returns the value unchanged when fewer than 3 arguments are passed.

Could you please fix the filter call so that it passes all three arguments, or does not call this filter, and release an update? Please let us know if you need more information, for example a full stack trace.

Thank you and best regards,

Denise
