Hello,
I'm following up on this public support ticket, submitted on 19 October, which has received no response to date.
I also reported these issues through a private ticket, where your team acknowledged my Premium licence on 20 October. However, I have received no further updates or technical assistance since then.
It has now been eight days since this public report was submitted, despite your stated 24-hour support response policy.
The issues remain unresolved and continue to affect the functionality of my live WooCommerce store.
As a paying Premium customer, I find this lack of communication and technical assistance increasingly disappointing, particularly given the detailed diagnostic information I have already provided.
I would appreciate an immediate acknowledgement of this ticket and a concrete update on when I can expect technical assistance.
I also hope that the products and support services I have paid for will ultimately prove to meet the expectations under which they were purchased.
I look forward to your prompt response.
I am submitting this issue as a public support ticket, following my previous private report, because the unresolved compatibility problem is preventing me from operating my WooCommerce store using the WPClever plugins I have invested in and configured to work together.
As a paying customer holding an active Premium licence for WPC Product Bundles, which is an integral part of my WooCommerce product configuration, I would simply appreciate having this issue given appropriate attention and receiving a substantive technical response, particularly considering its impact on my business.
My store relies on several WPClever plugins working together, including WPC Composite Products, WPC Product Options and WPC Product Bundles Premium.
Although the pricing issue manifests itself in Smart Composite products, our diagnostic logs confirm that pricing callbacks from both WPC Composite Products and WPC Product Bundles Premium are executed during cart recalculation. Their respective contributions to the incorrect price have not yet been conclusively established.
I am therefore reporting this as a potential cross-plugin compatibility issue affecting an integrated WPClever setup, rather than an isolated issue with a free plugin.
I am experiencing a reproducible cart pricing issue involving WPC Composite Products and WPC Product Options.
I have performed extensive diagnostics without modifying plugin code, prices, cart data or WooCommerce sessions. The results appear to point to an interaction between WPC Composite Products and WPC Product Options during woocommerce_before_calculate_totals.
Environment
- WordPress 7.1.2
- WooCommerce 11.1.2
- PHP 8.5.10
- WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce 8.0.3
- WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce Premium 8.6.8
- WPC Product Options for WooCommerce 4.0.6
- WPC Estimated Delivery Date for WooCommerce 4.0.1
- WPC Buy Now Button for WooCommerce 2.2.5
- WPC Fly Cart for WooCommerce 6.3.0
- Enfold theme
Product setup
The affected main products are WPC Smart Composite products.
A typical composite contains:
- a required variable product ("Translation") as a component;
- optional components that may include WPC Smart Bundles;
- other optional simple/variable products;
- WPC Product Options fields such as mandatory/optional file uploads and text fields.
None of the WPC Product Options fields used in the test is configured to adjust the product price.
The Composite pricing mode is "Exclude base price".
Steps to reproduce
- Start with an empty cart.
- Configure and add one Smart Composite product. Its calculated price is correct on the product page and it is added to the cart at €30.
- Configure another Smart Composite product in the same way. Its price is also correctly displayed as €30 on the product page immediately before adding it.
- Add the second product to the cart.
Actual result
The second Smart Composite is added to the cart at €0, and the cart total does not increase accordingly.
The issue is not product-specific. Reversing the order of the tested Composite products reproduces the same behaviour: the first item is priced correctly and a subsequent Composite can become €0.
The problem is also visible in the native WooCommerce cart, so it is not merely a WPC Fly Cart display issue.
Expected result
Both Smart Composite products should retain their correctly calculated €30 price in the cart.
Request payload
The successful first addition and failing subsequent addition contain the same relevant Composite configuration. For example:
wooco_ids = 15037/1/7rzs,15327/1/92m3
The Product Options fields are also submitted correctly. No final calculated price is submitted by the browser; the cart price is therefore reconstructed server-side.
Diagnostic findings
I logged the WooCommerce cart at different priorities of woocommerce_before_calculate_totals, without modifying any cart data.
The callbacks registered on my installation are:
9998 – WPCleverWoosb_Compatible->wpml_sync_cart_contents_totals
9999 – WPCleverWooco->before_calculate_totals
9999 – WPCleverWoosb->before_calculate_totals
999999 – Wpcpo_Cart->before_calculate_totals
At priority 9999 the actual execution order is consistently:
1. WPCleverWooco->before_calculate_totals
2. WPCleverWoosb->before_calculate_totals
The important diagnostic finding is that the affected Composite cart items can contain:
price = 30
wpcpo_price = 0
immediately before the Composite/Bundles callback block.
After the callbacks at priority 9999, the Composite product price becomes:
price = 0
while:
wpcpo_price = 0
remains present.
The price is already €0 when execution reaches WPC Product Options at priority 999999 and remains €0 afterwards.
The selected Translation component itself remains correctly priced at €30; it is the parent Smart Composite cart item whose price becomes €0.
Product Options appears to store wpcpo_price = 0 when the options have no price adjustment. The subsequent Composite/Bundles calculation then appears to interact incorrectly with this stored value.
This seems potentially related to this previous WPClever support report concerning incorrect cart pricing with WPC Composite Products + WPC Product Options:
Previous WPClever support report: “The cart price is incorrect”
I have not applied the custom workaround proposed in that thread because I would prefer to identify/fix the underlying compatibility issue rather than override WPC pricing logic.
Additional issue – WPC Estimated Delivery Date
In the same environment I am also experiencing a separate issue with WPC Estimated Delivery Date 4.0.1: the cart displays only the current date rather than the expected estimated delivery date.
I do not know whether this is related to the pricing issue above, but I am mentioning it because several WPC plugins participate in the same WooCommerce cart environment and it may be useful for your developers when investigating compatibility between the plugins.
I can provide the diagnostic logs showing the price transition, wpcpo_price, wooco_ids, callback priorities and callback execution order if useful.
Could you please check whether this is a compatibility issue between WPC Composite Products and WPC Product Options, possibly involving the handling of wpcpo_price / wooco_ids during cart price recalculation?
Thank you very much!
