It's not just "a" backup and restore plugin. It's the most popular and widely used backup and restore plugin and it's not designed to be deactivated after each use because it has automated scheduled backups.
UpdraftPlus is a plugin that helps you back up and restore your website, so you can deactivate it after each use, right?
The problem is still present in 4.0.5 and still waiting for communication.
Hi
Still waiting for another update to this?
Hi,
I updated to 4.0.1, cleared all caches and the problem is still present.
I am still forced to use the temporary fix I presented in my first message to resolve the issue.
Hi Clarity251,
Thank you for sharing the details of the issue.
Please update the plugin to the latest version (4.0.1). I have fixed it.
File: assets/css/backend.scss
.ui-widget-overlay {
position: fixed;
top: 0;
left: 0;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background-color: rgba(15, 23, 42, 0.6);
backdrop-filter: blur(2px);
z-index: 100100 !important;
}
When I click any UpdraftPlus function which produces a popup, I cannot click anything because there is an overlay that won't disappear unless I manually delete it from inspect. Further investigation led me to estimated delivery date plugin being responsible. The only way I can fix it is to disable the plugin or to use the temporary workaround snippet below.
Temporary fix I applied:
body .ui-widget-overlay.ui-front {
z-index: 99998 !important;
}
